Ujjain is a holy city situated on the banks of the Shipra River in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The star attraction of this place is the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is a popular pilgrimage attraction that attracts devotees from different parts of the country.

Omkareshwar is an auspicious Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva on an ‘OM’ shaped holy island on the River Narmada, situated between Indore and Khandwa. The island comprises of two lofty hills and is divided by the valley in such a way that it appears in the shape of the sacred symbol, ‘OM’. One of the 12 revered jyotirlingas in the subcontinent, it is surrounded Vindhyas on the North and Satpura on the South. On the shore of river Narmada, stowed away in western Madhya Pradesh, Omkareshwar is at a distance of 77 km from Indore. Being a sacred religious centre, one can find scores of other temples in the vicinity - Panchmukhi Ganesh Temple, Mamleshwar Mandir, Vrahadeshwar Temple, Govindeshwar Temple and Annapoorna Temple to name a few. An unbelievable spiritual gush ruptures over the town during Maha Shivratri and Kartik festival with thousands of devotees flooding the place.

Maheshwar A temple town on the bank of Narmada River, Maheshwar is situated in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh. It is believed that Lord Shiva is worshiped where the Narmada flows because he is the only idol of inner peace to calm her. It has mythological and historical importance as it is believed that King Sahasrarjun who was a husband of 500 wives had stopped Narmada River with his 1000 arms and made a play area for his wives. During this period, the Shivalinga was made by Ravana on the riverside. When he released the river water, the Shivlinga was washed away and that ensued in war between both of them. But when king got the victory, he kept ten lamps on the heads of Ravana and one on his hand. Now, you can see 11 lamps in the Sahasrarjun Temple to keep the event lively.

Besides, Maheshwar is known for its spiritual importance, which is mentioned as Mahishmati in the famous Hindu epics Ramayana and Mahabharata. In addition to all these, Maheshwar is popular for making unique and delicate cotton and silk blend handloom saris. It is recognized for its huge production of Maheshwari sarees and this makes this popular tourist destination a perfect paradise for shopaholics.

Mandu is a fortress town located in the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. The place derives its name from the word Mandapa Durga. Its name means the city of joy.the place is famous for the fort built by Baz Bahadur to honor his beautiful Queen Roopmati. This place is situated on an elevation the overlooks the Malwa in the north and the Narmada valley in the south. The Vidhya ranges are the prominent elevation on which the place is located. The Khalji dynasty ruled this region for an extended period. Their rule was then followed by the Mughal rulers. Day 01 : UJJAIN ARRIVAL

On arrival in Ujjain, check into hotel. Ujjain is acknowledged for Kalidasa and its most popular composition, Meghdoot. It is also known as adobe for Lord Shiva where he has the power of the 12 Jyotirlingas. One of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India, the lingam at the Mahakala is believed to be swayambhu (born of itself) deriving currents of power shakti) from within itself as against the other images and lingams which are ritually established and invested with mantra-shakti.

Day 01 : UJJAIN

In our day tour itinerary, we will be covering the major tourist attractions of Ujjain such as the Mahakaleshwar Temple, Chintaman Ganesh, Bhartrihari Caves, Bade Ganeshji Ka Mandir, Pir Matsyendranath, Vedh Shala and Kaliadeh Palace. Thereafter, we will return back to our hotel and overnight stay at Ujjain.

Day 02 : UJJAIN - OMKARESHWAR

Early in the morning get ready to attend Bhasmarti at your own. Then  In our day tour itinerary, we will be covering Omkareshwar, the sacred island, shaped like the holiest of all Hindu symbols, 'Om', has drawn to it hundreds of generations of pilgrims. Here, at the confluence of the rivers Narmada and Kaveri, the devout gather to kneel before the Jyotirlinga (one of the twelve throughout India) at the temple of Shri Omkar Mandhata. Day 03 : OMKARESHWAR - MAHESHWAR

Maheshwar town is spotted with some of the famous Hindu temples, including Jaleshwar temple, the Rajarajeswara temple and Ahilyeshwar temple. 

Day 04 : MAHESHWAR TO INDORE VIA MANDU

Each of Mandu's structures is an architectural gem; some are outstanding like the massive Jami Masjid and Hoshang Shah's tomb, which provided inspiration to the master builders of the Taj Mahal centuries later. sight to visit-The Darwazas, The Royal Enclave

There is also the Echo Point, the 'Delphic Oracle' of Mandu. A shout from here reverberates far below and is heard clearly back. The Lohani Caves and Temple Ruins, not far from the royal enclave area also merit a visit due to their association with Mandu's history and monuments. Sunset Point, in front of the caves affords a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. 

Day 05: INDORE DEPART

Indore is located at the center of Malwa Plateau and it is a place which takes one back to the Holkar Dynasty. , go out to witness a great combination of art and culture of different regions and ages. This combination can be seen through the different attractions of this place such as Central Museum, Gomatgiri, Kanch Mandir, Khajrana and Lal Bagh Palace. Indore well known in India for its Sarafa Night Food Market and other morning market Chappan Dukan. when you leave Indore it will be with beautiful memories.
